Most projects are for NYC apartment renovations and combinations. Responsibilities will include putting together sets of drawings for building management and DoB/Landmark approvals. Drawings will include riser diagrams, plot plans, demolition, construction, electrical, reflected ceiling plans, details, mechanical sheets, and Comcheck sheets. Landmark sets could include exterior elevations and window details. Several projects require elevations of cabinetry, bathrooms, furniture plans, etc.

Experienced Architectural Technician or Part 2 qualified Architect, required for a small, busy practice near Brighton.

The practice specialises mainly in large & small residential projects.

The ideal person should have excellent AutoCad skills and a good knowledge of current Building Regulations. The role will be to support the directors & project architect and the candidate must be willing to work on a number of projects simultaneously. Good communication & people skills will be critical as the job will also involve speaking directly to clients, engineers & builders.

The practice is prepared to support the ideal candidate complete further studies or professional qualifications. Must be willing to contribute to the general office dynamic and a good sense of humour is essential.
