Junior Architect
22/05/2014We are a small office with creative clients and a diverse range project types including innovative office design, high end residential renovation, new houses, interiors, institutions, art installation, and retail design.
Currently seeking creative individuals to be involved in projects from conception to realization in a collaborative, open studio. An especially good opportunity for individuals who would appreciate a hands- on experience from design to detailing to site supervising their work.
Candidate must have great organizational and communication skills, be independent and self-motivated, have good knowledge of Vector Works, and excellent design and presentation skills. Knowledge of and interest in contemporary art and design helpful. Construction and building experience appreciated.
We unfortunately cannot sponsor foreign applicants or overseas internships.

Architectural and Interior Designer
22/05/2014Roundabout Studio is a design-centric design/build company located in downtown Toronto. Our current projects include a 6,000 sf residential addition and renovation (near completion), a 3,600 sf new build house, and a 2,000 sf administrative building for a rock quarry.
We're looking for someone with a minimum of five years of preferably residential architectural and interior design experience. CAD skills are important, as is knowledge of design and construction detailing, but we are also looking for a creative person who sees both clients and builders as their collaborators. At minimum, a post-secondary design degree is also required.
Applicants should include a cover letter, CV, and at least a partial portfolio which demonstrates a breadth of experience across all phases of design. Please submit your application (no greater than 5MB) to email. Sorry, only those selected for interviews will be contacted. No phone calls please.
