An Award Winning leading architectural and interior design practice are looking for workplace strategy interior designers, who will be working on office buildings, education facilities, leisure and living environments, to join their company on a permanent basis.
You will be working both in the UK and internationally exploring spatial design, undertaking strategic space planning studies as well as analysing space planning, furniture selection and interior space specification across a range of building typologies. As a workplace strategy interior designer, you will be working as part of an integrated project team.
Previous strategy planning experience is a must, as is excellent CAD and drafting skills. You will possess exceptional research, data analysis and report writing skills and must be confident in understanding client needs. You will possess strong communication skills and feel comfortable liaising and influencing at all levels across the business. You will approach your work in a systematic and organised manner with a high level of attention to detail.

Ascher Davis Architects is a multidisciplinary architecture and interior design studio specializing in high-end residential, corporate, and institutional work. ADA is seeking a talented and self-motivated candidate for a junior position. This is an excellent, hands-on opportunity for the right applicant who will benefit greatly from being involved in all aspects of a dynamic environment. The applicant must be skilled and eager to become involved in all phases of the design and construction process, as well as general office operations and overall procedures.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of office experience, preferably in high-end residential production work.
- Bachelor of Architecture or Bachelor of Architecture Technology degree at minimum.
- Excellent AutoCAD drafting and 3D rendering skills (Sketch-up required, 3D Max and others a plus).
- Proficiency with graphics software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator are all required) and MS Office Suite & Project.
- Beginning knowledge of New York City Building Code and submittals process.
- Strong communication skills: verbal, written, and through drawings.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Drawing production, CAD work.
- CAD furniture plans.
- Presentation drawing production (CAD, hand drawing and rendering skills are important).
- Model production (model building skills are important).
- Job related research.
- Researching initial precedent images.
- Compiling materials and FF&E schedules based on direction given.
- General office managerial duties including but not limited to answering phones, messengering packages, organizing sample library, etc.
