Full Scale, Inc. is an influential architecture and interior design firm specializing in high-end residential and commercial commissions, as well as the design of custom furnishings. Our projects are carefully tailored to reflect the unique spirit and needs of each of our clients. FSI is seeking a focused and motivated entry level Junior Architect with strong skills in drafting, 3D modeling, and research. This position offers an excellent learning experience for the qualified applicant that will benefit from an intimate and dynamic involvement in all aspects of the design, construction, and implementation process.

Requirements:

- 1-2 years of office experience, preferably in high-end residential production work.
- Bachelor of Architecture or Bachelor of Architecture Technology degree at minimum.
- Beginning knowledge of New York City Building Code and submittals process.
- Experience in construction documentation, detailing, and construction administration.
- Experience with furniture and space planning.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with strong research and technical skills.
- Proficiency in Vectorworks and Sketchup is ideal.
- General office managerial duties including but not limited to answering phones, messengering packages, organizing sample library, etc.
- Strong drive, good work ethic, and punctuality.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States, without need for employee sponsorship.

Responsibilites:

- Work closely with principals and associates to develop and execute all aspects of the design and construction process.
- Develop drawings through the conceptual, design development, and construction document phases.
- Supervise and document onsite work.
- Research and source materials, and obtain quotes.
- Research and catalogue product specifications, product technical drawings, and conceptual images for client presentation and/or onsite use for the architect and general contractor.

Murphy Burnham & Buttrick is a design focused architecture practice based in New York City that does a broad range of residential, educational and civic work. We are looking for an individual with an advanced degree in architecture, exceptional design skills and a minimum of four years post graduate experience. REVIT/BIM a plus. Must be legally able to work in the United States.
