Our client, a leading International Interior Design firm, is looking to recruit a Senior Interior Designer to join their growing Hong Kong office. You must have wealth of experience in hospitality projects including hotels, club houses and resorts across Hong Kong and China. Experience in Residential development projects may also be considered. Working with the Design Director you will be responsible for the entire design process from concept through to completion. Creativity is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Developing design concepts from scratch.
- Clearly presenting concepts to Design Directors, Clients, and Operators.
- Provide design direction and management of the projects including manpower scheduling, projections and profitability.
- Direct junior designer and manage production teams.
- Liaison between clients and operators.
- Project management and design team management.
- Monitor the work according to Interior Design contract of project(s).
- Coordinate with consultants and suppliers.
- Coordination of site handover and monitor fitting-out progress.
- Provide technical drafting support, whenever required.
Requirements:
- University / College degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience in hospitality/residential design.
- Highly creative and have the ability to generate new design concepts.
- Existing relationship and experience with Hong Kong & China Developers is a plus.
- Focused, well-organized, positive attitude, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proactive and able to work independently and in a team.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office and Photoshop.
- Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, Japanese is an advantage.
- Must be willing to travel to China.
