Busy, traditional & contemporary architecture practice who offer first class design solutions across education, commercial, mixed use and heritage projects are recruiting for an experienced Project Architect to join their team. You will be client facing and will be responsible for overseeing projects from design to completion and responsible for overseeing design documentation, ensuring that the designs meet building regulation requirements and client specifications. Your role will also involve project programming within the office and project delivery. Candidates must have previous experience of running residential projects through all RIBA stages including Contract Administration. AutoCAD is preferred with experience with design software including SketchUp, advantageous.

Qualifications and personal qualities:

- RIBA or ARB registered Architect with experience of working within the United Kingdom.
- Experience of working directly with the client, contractor and design team.
- Experience of various forms of building contract (D&B, CM, Traditional).
- NBS Spec writing.
- Contract Administration.
- Production information.
- Experienced with building and planning regulations.

Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills excellent communications skills, be highly computer literate, self-motivated and a clear thinker, alongside a strong team player who can work in a multi-disciplinary team and able to work to tight deadlines.

We are seeking an intern architect with two to three years’ experience to join our team of design professionals. A successful candidate must be creative and dedicated, with multifamily experience a plus.
