We are currently looking for fill the following position:
- Minimum 4-6 years experience in Architectural/Design Services.
- Bachelor of Architecture degree required.
- Maintain and implement client standards.
- Strong production skills, previous experience in retail preferred.
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe and MS office.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Workshop for Architecture is an architectural studio located in New York City. Our projects range from interiors to new construction and explore residential, commercial, hotel and temporary installation designs. Our joint company Workshop For Construction forms the build side to our design-build operation.
Currently, we are seeking an experienced, senior level designer/architect capable of overseeing a wide range of project types both interior and new construction. This candidate must be self-motivated and proactively involved in the creative integrity of the office culture. He or she must have held similar roles in the past and must understand the responsibilities this position requires.
Skills and qualities that are required include the following:
- Clear and strong ability to articulate design initiatives and concepts.
- Able to inspire and motivate other team members to a common cause and utilize their skills effectively.
- Capable of using a variety of mediums, such as model-making, 3D modeling, sketching and digital graphics in order to represent design concepts and strategies.
- Capable of independently understanding, articulating and managing the required tasks to complete project goals.
- Able to build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
- Actively engage and assist Principal to raise office standards and goals.
Other prerequisites include:
- Masters degree in architecture from accredited U.S. university.
- 8-10 years full-time experience with a range of projects.
- Advanced CADD skills including 3D modeling & rendering.
- Advanced Adobe Suites skills in at least Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
- Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- LEED accreditation license registration desired but not required.
