LHB's Minneapolis Office has an exciting opening for a full time Project Architect. The successful candidate will develop designs and construction documents for a wide range of projects and construction types including higher education, housing, and commercial design. We are seeking an Architect to join our team who shares our passions for design leadership, loyalty to clients, and sustainability. You will be interacting with LHB staff, contractors, and clients. Being concise and clear in your style is imperative, both in written and verbal forms of communication.
Job responsibilities:
- Working with clients on programming sessions and charettes.
- Developing and presenting design concepts and details.
- Performing code analyses.
- Evaluating options for sustainable strategies.
- Creating and coordinating construction documents.
- Performing construction administration.
- Coordinating LEED and B3 documentation.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
- Licensed to practice Architecture.
- Exceptional design skills.
- Thorough and well-developed knowledge of building systems.
- Construction administration experience with multiple building systems.
- Talent with graphic presentation.
- Proficiency in Revit.
- Proficiency in SketchUp and Adobe Suite.
- Hand drawing skills.
- Professional verbal communication and writing skills.
- Experience with specification writing.
- Curiosity for learning, strong work ethic, creativity, initiative.
Other beneficial qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience with commercial interiors/furniture systems.
- SpecLink software skills.
- LEED Accreditation.

Atelierdb was established in 2009 and has a broad range of projects from small domestic homes to large commercial buildings and fitouts.
We are growing and need an architect to join us to help deliver existing workload as well as secure new projects with us. We work across sw London and within central London having completed a number of projects across the city of London and the west end.
Candidates must have the following skills and experience:
- Minimum 5 years experience post part iii qualification.
- Excellent design presentation and technical skills.
- Site experience and practical construction knowledge.
- Be a strong team player.
- Be experienced in coordinating designs with engineers.
- Be client facing.
- Be highly skilled in autocad, adobe, sketchup and microsoft suites.
- Have excellent communication and strong time management skills.
