Junior Architect

TPD is seeking full-time, self-motivated, responsible architects and designers with leadership qualities to join our creative team for the following positions: (Salary commensurate with experience).
Candidate skill requirements:
- Candidates must have a minimum B.S in Architecture or BArch degree and 2-3 years relevant US experience.
- Experience in all design phases including field observation, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration.
- Ability to work as a contributing team member and be self-motivated.
- Possess good organization and communication skills.
- Software Skills should include AutoCAD Architecture 2012, Rendering Software (3D Studio Max, Rhino, and/or SketchUp), Microsoft Office , and Adobe CS.
- Advanced rendering knowledge / skills are a plus.
- Revit knowledge / skills are a plus but are not required.
- Project experience in New York City and knowledge of applicable building codes a plus.
- Fluent in verbal and written English.
The preferred candidate should be a self-motivated, energetic individual with the ability to work on various tasks simultaneously. He/she should have strong interest/knowledge in 2D and 3D modeling and rendering, as well as the skills needed to be part of a team in the support and creation of construction documents.

Architectural Renderer / Designer
26/04/2014Small-sized, international design firm in NYC SOHO is seeking an Architectural Renderer/Designer with specialization in rendering and 3D visualization. The position requires excellent design skill and will provide the opportunity to participate in the creation of design and presentation renderings during the Concept Design, SD-DD stages of the project. The best candidate will have a demonstrated enthusiasm for high performance architecture and will be able to capture the vision of our firm and clients.
The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years professional experience.
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture.
- Excellent Rhino and 3D Studio Max modeling skills.
- Vray and Maxwell rendering skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe CS Suite required; SketchUp a plus.
- Experience working on all phases of design.
- China experience a plus.
- Strong creative and design research skills.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and organized, with strong graphic and communication skills.
