The ideal candidate will be well organized, self motivated and committed to all facets of building design and detailing. The employee will be involved in all phases of work from code and zoning analysis, programming, schematic design, construction documents and construction administration. PGAL is seeking a Project Architect with 10-15 years of experience licensed in the state of Texas. Must be able to manage and produce documents on multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include all phases of design through construction administration phases, project management and client contact. Effectively demonstrate technical detailing and problem-solving skills on complex project types. Our firm performs a wide range of project types for both private and public clients, and has a culture that is energetic, collaborative and open.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency in AutoCAD required. Proficiency in Revit, 3D Studio or Sketch-up, and specifications writing is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field is required. US Architectural license preferred.
