Growing Architectural Department seeks a driven, Project Architect with strong project management and technical skills to join our team. In this role, the candidate is expected to play a significant role in the growth / direction of the department in addition to leading projects and mentoring junior staff. Position requirements are:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture with a NY architecture license and registration.
- 7 to 15 years experience in all facets of architectural design, management, and coordination.
- Knowledge of construction technologies and building codes relative to education, healthcare, institutional, and industrial projects.
- Complete understanding of public bid procedures.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD & Specification writing.
- USGBC leed project experience.
- Candidates with leed ap certification and presentation/graphics skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.) are preferred.
