We are currently hiring a mid level architect to join our rapidly expanding team.
Successful candidates will be self-starters with a minimum of 5-10 years practical experience. Other qualifications include:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Extensive CD/CA field experience.
- Proven design skills.
- Must be a team player.
- Knowledge of Vectorworks is a plus but not required.

Holt Architecture is an ambitious and friendly Practice based in The Pyramid Building in Shad Thames.
Over the last year and a half the practice has built up a base of clients with a range of sizes and types of projects including schools, sports facilities, higher education and private residential schemes and are currently looking for an Architect or experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant to help us grow.
The job will demand a flexible approach from a candidate who is comfortable working across all Riba work stages and who can balance technical understanding with great presentation and communication skills. You will be working on projects ranging between £400k - £2.5M in a small team where the sharing of knowledge and experience is a vital ingredient of our success.
The right candidate will have:
- Strong Revit skills (essential).
- Confidence in visual and verbal communication.
- A sound understanding of construction technologies and UK Building Regulations.
- Experience of NBS specification writing.
- Contract administration (beneficial).
Software that we currently use in the office includes:
- Autodesk Revit & AutoCAD.
- Adobe In Design.
- Photoshop.
- Sketchup with VRay.
You should also have excellent organisational skills, with attention to detail and a pro-active and positive approach; be self-motivated and a practical and strategic thinker with the ability to work autonomously.
