Goodwyn, Mills & Cawood, Inc. is a multi-disciplinary architectural and engineering firm is seeking registered Architects to join our Greenville, SC office. GMC specializes in Educational, Healthcare, and various commercial projects located across the state of South Carolina.
Essential responsibilities:
- Perform construction administration and proven ability to manage project from design to finish.
- Produce construction documents (plans and specifications) and research project-specific components as well as perform code analysis.
- Coordinate with sub-consulting engineer teams.
- Assist with responses to Request for Information (RFIs), other correspondence and various tasks to support project development.
Requirements:
- Professional Degree in Architecture from an accredited architectural program.
- 5-10 year(s) experience in an architecture firm.
- Architect registered in SC or completed NCARB Program.
- Leed Accredited Professional Preferred.
- Experience working in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Self-motivated, seeking expanding responsibility.
- Core knowledge on detailing and how to put a set of construction documents together.
- Must be able to perform work-related travel and have a valid driver’s license.
An award winning international design practice have a unique opportunity for a Workplace Interior Designer or Architect to join their London team to work on an exciting Global HQ workplace project in central London, for a blue chip company.
Key day-to-day tasks of the Workplace Interior Designer include:
- Liaising with clients confidently.
- Working on the initial concept design to concept development.
- Doing detailing across a variety of projects.
- Liaising with consultants and suppliers, through from concept to post-site operations.
- Working closely with the project team, external consultants and suppliers.
- Delivering projects on to site.
Key attributes of the Workplace Interior Designer include:
- Experienced with AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Rhino & Adobe Suite. Revit desirable.
- Good All-rounder.
- 5 years minimum experience gained working within the UK on workplace projects.
- Excellent design and graphics skills.
- Proven experience in design documentation – technical drawing and interior package documentation for workplace fit outs, including joinery documentation experience, NBS spec familiarity, are required.
- Relevant degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture.
- Self-motivated and focus to achieve project deadlines.
