A design-focused architectural practice based in New York City is looking for an Intermediate Architect to start immediately. The firm provides complete architectural services to a wide variety of clients with an emphasis on high-end residential, commercial and specialized retail projects.

We are seeking a highly qualified, intermediate architect with experience in high end residential projects. Applicant must have substantial experience in the design and production of residential and commercial projects and must have excellent technical and detailing abilities. Applicant must be proficient in handling all phases of a project from the design phase through construction Administration. We are looking for an energetic, precise individual with the ability to work well in a team, multi task and perform under pressure.

- Minimum 6 years experience.
- Experience in all phases of residential construction and design.
- New York City experience in all phases of project development, from design to construction administration.
- Ability to manage projects and teams and work with client, consultants, and professionals.
- Strong design skills.
- Excellent AutoCAD and 3D modeling skills and experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills.

Brooklyn based architecture and planning firm seeks a well-spoken, talented individual who is detail-oriented, organized, professional and willing to work on a variety of project types including ground up attached single family housing as well as community and educational facilities. Prospective applicants should be energetic, self-motivated, be able to multi-task, and work independently.

Requirements:

- Completion of a B. Arch or M. Arch professional degree program.
- Advanced proficiency in Autocad, Rhino, Sketchup, VRay, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office.
- Experience with construction documents.
- Experience with the permitting process in NYC, including LPC, DOB and City Planning a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within the NY metro area preferred.
- Based in the NYC area and have valid authorization to work in the USA.
