Thinking of escaping from the City for the delights of Exmoor and the West Country, yet still working in a dynamic forward thinking, high quality architectural studio?
Owing to an expanding and exciting portfolio of work we currently have vacancies for both a qualified architect and an experienced Riba Part 2 Assistant to work on a range of projects ranging from the contemporary to the historic, with a focus on high quality private residential work across Somerset and Devon.
The right candidates must be creative, focused, confident and motivated with proven design and technical skills, and have in depth experience of working within UK legislation. Experience of working on high-end residential properties and under traditional forms of contract will also be an advantage.
Role: Taking responsibility for leading and managing a number of projects from concept design stage, through development of design, technical design and tendering, and overseeing construction and completion - as defined by the Riba Plan of Work.
Experience: You must have at least 3-5 years post Part III experience, with the ability to run a small team and an interest in becoming involved in the practice management.
