GTM has an immediate opening in its Interiors studio. Applicant should have a minimum of 3 years' professional experience and a BA in interiors or related education/experience. Applicants should have a good understanding of FF&E, finish and lighting selection and specification for commercial interiors projects, and also have strengths in conceptual design, documentation detailing and construction administration & coordination. Responsibilities will include both interior design and space planning doing test fits and creating CDs. Must also have knowledge / experience of using local building codes and BOMA standards.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced studio environment.
Applicant should have at least 3 years’ professional experience.

- Excellent communication skills – must be skilled at presentations.
- Must be self- motivated.
- Working experience with AutoCAD, Sketch-up and experience in interior commercial / space planning projects.
- Tasks include test fits, CD’s and CA for commercial interior fit-outs. Knowledge of BOMA and local building codes a plus.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced studio environment.
- Contract furniture specifications experience also required.
- Will be responsible for quality control and interfacing with customers, suppliers, and all levels of management.
- Must know BOMA square foot measurements (1996 and 2010).
- Design work for Landlords… ie: leasing plans, marketing exhibits, RSF calcs, Test Fits, CD’s, CA (submittals, RFI’s, etc).
- Furniture selection and specifications.
- Presentations… must have good speaking skills.

A boutique High End Residential Developer, with a focus on Prime Central London properties, is looking for an Interior Designer to lead their development projects in Mayfair, Knightsbridge, Belgravia and Chelsea.
As a confident, creative, astute & client-facing designer you will have worked on a number of projects from concept to completion during your career, working in the High-End Residential sector.
While creative flair is essential, a practical approach will also be required, as you will need to use AutoCAD to produce detail drawing packages for Tender & Construction.
Design responsibilities will include creation of project concepts, leading interior design progress on projects through to construction. A good knowledge of subcontrators and suppliers is desirable but not the main focus.
You will also work closely with the studio’s Architect making sure architecture and interior design are fully integrated.
