Larson and Paul Architects is a mid-sized Architecture and Interiors practice with offices in New York City and Pine Plains, NY. We have a broad portfolio of residential work mostly in the tri-state area (Manhattan, Long Island, Upstate NY). Retail work is fast paced and nationwide. Our projects are thoughtfully designed and detail focused.

We are currently staffing commissions for several high end residential projects (apartments and houses), a multi-family residential building in Manhattan, and to support our retail group.

Candidates should have the following skills and experience:

- Archiitecture degree (B Arch or M Arch).
- Experience building drawings for high-end residential construction.
- Strong visual and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a small team directly with owner and contractors on multiple projects.
- Legal US work status.
- AutoCAD Skills.

Synthesis Architects is an award-winning, growing design firm focused on commercial, educational and government projects. We are a creative group, working together in an open-studio environment, located in Schenectady's revitalized downtown. We are seeking candidate(s) with a minimum of 8 years of experience that are creative, self-motivated individuals with positive attitudes. Experience in building design, technical detailing, CAD drafting, contract documentation, code evaluation, specification writing, cost estimating and construction administration is required.

The ideal candidate is someone who can guide other staff members, coordinate the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout all phases of a project, and communicate professionally with clients.

We use Revit for all projects, so proficiency in that software is desirable, but not required. What's most important to us is that our people know how buildings are put together and are able to transition creative designs into construction documents.
