Bright Architecture is a growing Brooklyn-based architecture firm with a creative and collaborative work environment. Our current projects are focused on innovative, scalable spatial products with a unique focus on boutique retail and fitness experiences. We are seeking a talented and ambitious Project Architect looking for engagement throughout the design and construction process.

Responsibilities:

- Manage all phases of commercial retail projects and base building fit-outs, from programming through construction administration.
- Maintain primary contact with clients as well as with project consultants including engineers, filing expediters, and specialty vendors.
- Supervise production staff during schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
- Manage relationships with contractors from bidding through construction completion.

Qualifications:

- Professional bachelors degree or greater in Architecture.
- 5-7 years experience managing large projects, preferably retail Interiors, with demanding clients and schedules and large consultant teams.
- Ability to manage the technical aspects of client, team, and project coordination, including:

- Complex detailing and assembling of construction documents with fast-paced projects.
- Coordination across multiple consultants.
- Maintain project deadlines and client relations.
- Fluency in creating and maintaining project manuals and specifications.
- Familiarity with NYC building codes and agencies.
- Experience in scalable retail projects and a strong interest or experience in boutique fitness and spa design.
- Proficiency in Vectorworks and Rhino a plus.
- Strong drawing and graphic communication skills across a variety of platforms, including hand sketching.

London-based landscape design practice Tom Stuart-Smith Ltd is seeking a landscape architect to work on a range of national & international projects.

We are an internationally renowned landscape design practice. Our expanding portfolio means that we are currently looking for a creative and focused person to join our talented team of 10 designers working under the direction of Tom Stuart-Smith.

Essential:

- Diploma in Landscape Architecture or equivalent professional experience working in a landscape design office and/or on primarily landscape design projects.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, including the ability to sketch/develop designs on paper as well as digitally.
- Experience of working directly with clients and other consultants.
- Ability to work effectively and manage project teams.
- Strong skills in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite.
- Fluency in English language.
- Relevant permit for working in the UK.

Desirable:

- CMLI (Part 4).
- International experience.
- Building Information Modelling (BIM) experience.
- Construction documentation experience.
- Immediate availability.
