London based design-led practice looking for motivated, talented and dedicated individual to join our small, busy studio to work on a range of high end residential projects.
Candidate should be an experienced, job-running Part III Architect or Part II qualified Architectural Assistant with at least 3 years' post-Part II experience. We are looking for somebody with the skills to be able to take projects from conception through to completion.
We run a fast-paced environment, where you will often be expected to work on a number of projects simultaneously, most of them London-based.
The successful candidate should have the following skills and experience:
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work in a team and individually.
- Excellent design and presentation skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work conceptually and quickly on a variety of projects.
- Must be able to work on all elements of the job from design to installation.
- Ability to produce, planning, building control, tender, construction drawings.
- Experience working in the UK on small or medium sized projects preferably with Traditional procurement (JCT, MW or Intermediate).
- A good knowledge of English Planning and Building Regulations required.
- Good knowledge of Vectorwork, an ability to draw and strong 3D skills are essential.

Looking for an experienced, highly motivated, positive and detail-oriented draftsperson/designer for residential architectural design firm. Position (requires native English speaker residing in US) is freelance, remote, approximately 35 hours per week, possibly evolving into a full-time remote staff position with benefits which would include paid vacations.
Work under design director to:
- Create and correct schematic designs, drawings through design development and complete construction drawings.
- Write site specifications.
- Research codes and ensure compliance (must be experienced and proficient in this area!)
- Create 3D models.
Successful candidate must have:
- Complete proficiency and experience in AutoCAD and own software on adequate computer setup with internet and phone.
- Revit skills a very welcome plus!!
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods and materials and their integration into buildable projects.
- Must draw clearly and in detail to ensure projects can be bid and built without questions from contractors.
- Understanding of building science including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and structural systems.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines (and meet them) and flexibility as needed.
- Multitasking (work on several projects in different stages of design).
- Availability and willingness to commit to our firm's success.
