A high-end Residential Design consultancy are seeking a Junior Residential Interior Designer, with at least one years’ experience in a similar position and a degree in interior design, to join their Pall Mall based team.

As a Junior Residential Interior Designer you will be given the opportunity to work at all stages, working with the Senior Designer on a high end residence in Wimbledon. You will be involved in all aspects of the design process from the initial client briefs to the final presentation and budgeting. Daily duties will include sourcing materials and catalogues, management of fabric books, samples research and, assisting the Designer in creating concept boards, general office support and administration, assisting on-site installations.

You will require a good knowledge of AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Word, Excel and InDesign to assist with drawing specifications, quotes, ordering of samples and estimates.

The desired candidate will have skills and experiences that range from Schematic Design to Construction Documents. Minimum qualifications include: strong technical and effective communication skills; experience developing designs and integrating consultant input; experience working with a team to produce working drawings with minimal to moderate guidance. The following skills are a plus: familiarity with digital modeling and fabrication; expertise with application of Codes including ADA and CBC; experience working with multi-disciplinary teams for projects from $5M- $60M.
