An enthusiastic and experienced part 2 or part 3 architect is required to join our busy and rapidly expanding SW London firm.
Hoban Design is an award winning practice with a young and energetic team. The company’s focus is to deliver highly prestigious projects in the luxury residential sector. Having being commissioned to deliver a landmark residence, we are looking for a suitably enthusiastic and self-motivated candidate to join our team. Working along side the senior architects, the role will involve proactive contribution in all work stages of our projects, including concept design, detailed design, construction drawings, joinery design and on-site contract project management.
The ideal candidate must have the following attributes:
- An enthusiasm and flair for luxury residential design.
- A minimum of 3 years Vectorworks experience.
- A minimum of 2 years experience working on London based high-end residential projects.
- Excellent hand-drawing and graphic presentation skills.
- A proven working knowledge of building contracts.
- A detailed knowledge of current planning, building and CDM regulations.
- Self motivation and initiative to progress projects independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Developing drawing packages and managing projects onto site.

- A good working knowledge of AutoC.
- 4+ years gained working in the workplace sector.
- Relevant experience of briefing, space-planning & concept design development.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
