Candidate qualifications:

- 4-6 years experience in architecture or interior design Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
- Excellent graphic communication skills with proficiency in: 2D AutoCAD, Sketch Up and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to lead and work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Knowledge of construction materials, detailing, methods and standard building codes.

Brett Helsham Designs is a young design firm that is growing fast that handles both residential and commercial design. Looking specifically for a candidate with a Hospitality Design / FF&E background - someone who is energetic, a self starter and wants to grow within this small office environment. This is an entry level design staff member, with at least 1 year experience and a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Interior Design or Architecture program who will:

- Develop interior design concepts; prepare specifications and color boards.
- Prepare working construction documents, with a strong knowledge of details, millwork and custom furniture drafting.
- Research and has knowledge of fixture, furniture and equipment selection.
- Assists the Principal Designer in the management and coordination of multiple commercial and possibly residential interior design projects including production, client management and design.
- Assist with installation.
- May act as client interface throughout the project.

Candidates must have:

- Strong understanding of AutoCAD and creating construction documents and details.
- Adobe Creative Suite.
- 3D rendering a plus.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to complete tasks with focus & accuracy, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines, completing tasks as previously defined.
- Ability to work with integrity, trust and commitment, setting an example for others.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely; both verbally and in writing.
- References a plus.
