Nandinee Phookan Architect (NPA) is a full-service architectural firm based in Dumbo, Brooklyn. With its design studio IMAKE, the firm's projects range from urban design, planning, architecture, and interior design to furniture, products and graphics. NPA is currently seeking motivated, creative individuals to join its team as an intermediate architect on the path to licensure. The studio environment of the firm presents opportunities to work closely with principals and other members of the team on a wide range of projects.

Responsibilities:

- Work under a Project Architect to develop schematic design, design development and construction documents including details based on NPA standards.
- Develop presentation drawings, renderings and graphics.
- Conduct material research and meet vendors as necessary to understand materials/products used in a project.
- Conduct site surveys and existing conditions documentations.

Desired skills:

- 3 - 5 years of experience in all aspects of architectural design/documents and construction administration.
- B Arch degree from a 5 year accredited Architectural Program or an M Arch degree.
- Good design and writing/ communication skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, with experience in construction documents / detailing.
- Knowledge of Revit desirable.
- Proficiency in Rhino / Autodesk 3ds Max desirable.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign.
- Must be a team player with a good attitude and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines when necessary.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Small design-oriented high-end residential firm seeks Junior Architect with solid high-end residential design and construction experience for projects ranging from NYC apartments to Long Island country homes. Candidates should also demonstrate good digital modeling and rendering abilities and competent use of all architectural design programs.

Requirements include:

- Min. 3 years experience in high-end residential construction documents & detailing.
- Experience in both high-end interior renovations and single family wood frame construction.
- Ability to manage projects, research and work self-sufficiently.
- Excellent AutoCAD drafting skills.
- Excellent 3D Studio MAX modeling capabilities w/ knowledge of Vray.
- Strong design and graphic abilities.
- Hard working, reliable, strong writing and communication skills.
- Bachelors of Architecture degree & eligibility to work in the United States.
- Residing within commuting distance to NYC.
