wHY is seeking a full-time Intern or Entry Level designer with solid design and production skills in our New York office. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative multi-disciplinary studio environment on high profile cultural and institutional projects. - Strong working knowledge of Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop) and AutoCAD is required.
- Excellent 3D rendering/modeling skills.
- Prior professional work experience is required.
- Ability to start immediately.
Internships are compensated with a monthly honorarium, and entry level positions are salaried, commensurate with experience.

Our 30 person studio creates work that embodies a mission to integrate culture into our everyday, helping institutions strengthen their identity through the work we do with them.
With collaboration being a central aspect of the work and using design as tool to make meaningful impacts, wHY is structured as one cohesive team organized into four workshops, each directed by a leader:
- Buildings (architecture and interiors).
- Ideas (research and strategy).
- Grounds (landscape environments).
- Objects (products and material explorations).
Larson and Paul Architects is a mid-sized Architecture and Interiors practice with offices in New York City and Pine Plains, NY. We have a broad portfolio of residential work mostly in the tri-state area (Manhattan, Long Island, Upstate NY). Retail work is nationwide.
Our projects are thoughtfully designed, fast paced and detail focused.
We currently have commissions for several houses upstate and apartments in NYC and are seeking candidates for our residential design group.
Candidates should have the following skills and experience:
Junior Architect, 2-5 years of office experience.
- Architecture Degree (B Arch or M Arch).
- Experience building drawings for high-end residential construction.
- Strong visual and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a small team directly with owner and contractors on multiple projects.
- Legal US work status.
- AutoCAD Skills.
