The applicant should have a minimum of 10 years (post Riba Part 2) UK experience to work on a variety of projects including health, commercial/mixed use and aviation related projects. The candidates should be hands-on CAD literate and have good leadership, programming, delivery and communication skills. Technical competence in complex building types with an appreciation of good design will be essential as will the ability to manage and organise clients and design teams. Willingness to travel overseas for short periods may be beneficial.

We are currently looking for Advanced Design Architects to join our Hong Kong office.

Skills:

- 5-7 years of experience as a Design Architect on high-profile projects at top-tier international design firms.
- Documented experience in all phases of the design and construction process in Asia.
- Strong aesthetic sensibilities and design skills with the ability to implement a design concept from preliminary studies through to construction and detailing.
- Extensive experience in geometric optimization and fabrication processes for complex geometry and curvature.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a continuous desire to learn and grow.
- Technical problem solver with the ability to work out architectural solutions through innovative thinking (documented through construction and shop drawings / details).
- Good team player with the ability to organize both own work and others, clearly communicate with Project Leaders, and coach / motivate team members.
- Fluent English communication skills with additional fluency in both Mandarin and Cantonese a plus.
- Strong knowledge of products, materials and construction methods in Asia.
- Advanced 3d Modeler with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in Rhinoceros (including Grasshopper and scripting – preferably Python), Maya, 3D Max, and 3d visualization plug-ins.
- Expert knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
