Over a 40 year period, the firm has generated a multi-faceted approach to the design and construction of buildings. To acknowledge this inclusive and expanding practice, the firm is being renamed GLUCK+, which builds on its approach to Architect Led Design Build (ALDB). We are dedicated to the idea that buildings benefit when architects take responsibility for the architectural process from conception to construction, assuming oversight of all aspects of a project.
The firm has designed buildings throughout the United States, ranging in type from houses, schools, religious buildings and community centers to hotels, mixed-use/housing, corporate interiors, university buildings and historic restorations. Most work is constructed by the firm. Projects regularly win national and international design awards, and are published in architectural journals and books in many countries.
Gluck+ is seeking a strong designer interested in participating in an Architect Led Design Build practice. Candidates should have between 3-9 years of experience, and have the following skills:
- Experience on several ground-up projects in all phases of design / construction from Schematic Design through Construction Administration.
- Experience with technical detailing and materials research.
- Highly motivated, team oriented individuals with strong design skills.
To apply, send your resume with Subject line heading: "Design Position" and portfolio sample <3MB to email. Include both academic and professional work. Please no telephone calls.
