Candidates need to have the following qualifications:

- Healthcare experience is a must. Other project types such as educational, institutional, and/or commercial is beneficial.
- Architectural degree required - license preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience working in a professional architecture setting.
- Knowledge of all phases of design and construction from SD through project closeout.
- Ability to coordinate civil, structural and MEP documents and drawings.
- Ability to work closely with interior designers, project managers and principals assisting in documentation development.
- Must have strong Autodesk Revit experience.
- Possess excellent graphic and presentation skills as well as communication and organization skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Must be flexible, motivated, and capable of self-directed work along with team interaction.

We are seeking an exceptional Project Designer in our Manhattan office who can develop project designs and construction documents, coordinate consultants, and interact well with project staff and partners. Candidates should be capable of designing elegant, modern spaces, have knowledge of a full range of materials and construction methods, understand and apply codes and regulations, and produce quality documentation. Candidates should also be comfortable interacting with clients, contractors, and consultants on a frequent basis. Must be working towards architectural licensure and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

- 4-8 years of relevant experience in an architectural office.
- B. Arch or M. Arch degree.
- Extensive knowledge of architectural design, construction documentation, detailing, building materials, building codes and construction technologies, and on-site construction administration. Experience in interior design not required, but will give candidates a significant advantage.
- Working knowledge of the construction process, with an aptitude for modernist construction and detailing.
- Ability to coordinate documents and oversee a project through all phases of design and construction.
- Familiarity with single-family residential, commercial, and retail.
- Exceptionally strong organizational and communication skills, with an aptitude for thinking ahead to meet project goals. Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills through roles on past projects.
- Motivated and flexible, with a professional demeanor.
- Sophisticated client-facing presentation skills.
- Must be able to communicate and convey ideas in English and be currently authorized to work in the U.S (no exceptions).

Required proficiency in:

- AutoCAD.
- SketchUp.
- Revit.
- Rhino.
- Adobe Creative Suite.
- Microsoft Office Suite (O365).
