We are looking for two project architects with a minimum of three years post-registration experience to join our small, hard working team near Kings Cross to work on some exciting projects. Sarah Wigglesworth Architects is committed to sustainable building so knowledge of ecological principles and practice is essential.
Successful candidates must be prepared to take a leading role in this ideas-led practice. You will be heading teams working on specialist residential developments so you must have comprehensive knowledge of UK housing standards, relevant design guides and building regulations. You should have excellent design skills, technical know-how, familiarity with building contracts, construction detailing and job-running experience. You must be able to manage deadlines and workloads efficiently, working with other team members and consultants. Confidence, professionalism, friendliness and team-working is as important as being able to take the lead. You should be capable of writing coherently and precisely.
We work on Macs and use Vectorworks; we are currently moving to Vectorworks BIM. We also use Sketchup, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. You will need to be experienced in these programmes.

You will have proven experience of running a project across all the Riba stages, be skilled at liaising with clients, alongside strong design flair with the capacity to work with minimal direction. Microstation required.
