Responsibilities include: Studio / Project / Client Management – oversight of all phases of workflow and projects from start to finish. Proven ability to manage staff, consultants, and clients.

Professional degree in Architecture, licensure required, 10+ years experience in commercial architecture with at least 5 managing staff. Excellent communication skills in creative and thorough design solutions; AutoCAD / Revit, Microsoft Office, SketchUp preferred. Proven ability to lead / mentor a diverse team of junior designers.

Nancy Owens Studio LLC is an award winning Landscape Architecture firm with a passion for bringing creativity and innovation to the design of public and private open spaces. Opportunities exist to work on a variety of projects of high design ambition. We are looking for a self-motivated Landscape Designer to join our dedicated studio. This position entails collaborating with the studio’s principal and landscape designers to prepare design drawings and construction documents, with the opportunity for a future project management role.

The applicant should possess at least 1-3 years of full-time office experience, be an effective communicator, possess excellent writing skills, and be adept at multi-tasking. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate familiarity with the different phases of design, and more specifically have experience providing support in creating a construction document set. Architects with significant interest in landscape will also be considered.

Requirements:

- BLA or MLA from an accredited college or university.
- 1 to 3+ years office experience.
- Experience aiding in the preparation of construction documents.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, and Rhino.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with web design templates a plus.
