We are seeking highly motivated intermediate architects with 4-8 years work experience in both large scale hospitality and residential projects who are willing to join a collaborative and progressive work environment.

Qualifications:

- A professional architecture degree from an accredited institution is mandatory.
- 4-8 years demonstrated work experience in all design and construction phases, including construction administration, on large scale projects.
- Experience developing, managing and coordinating drawing sets as well as shop drawing reviews.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to field questions from clients, consultants and contractors.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities will include working with the lead project manager and managing principal, coordinating drawing documents internally and with consultants, attending client, consultant and OAC meetings, handling complex design issues, and maintaining written and verbal communication with both consultants and contractors.

The Interior Designer will lead the project design teams on healthcare projects from the pre-schematic phase through construction documents. The candidate must demonstrate their ability to react to a number of deign styles and their methods of delivery. This position requires the candidates develop and lead design charrettes and presentations with the Perkins Eastman team and clients.

Job responsibilities:

- Reporting to the principal responsible for the individual market sector, the Interior Designer will be responsible for tasks including programming, small to large-scale space planning and must possess a thorough working knowledge of furniture lines and FF&E specifications.

Key skills:

- Master or Bachelor Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of relevant Healthcare project experience.
- Ability to develop, communicate and present design concepts to their team.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD is required. Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, 3D Max, Sketchup, InDesign and other related design software.
- NCIDQ accreditation is preferred.
- Leed accreditation is a plus.
