Spivak Architects is a collaborative design studio specializing in a wide range of project types including residential, hospitality and commercial, from renovation and new construction to urban design. We have exciting new opportunities for residential, commercial and hospitality projects and are looking to add the following staff position:

Project Architect with at least seven years of post-graduate experience.

Requirements for candidates:

- Strong design sense and technical construction ability.
- Knowledge of NYC building codes and NYC DOB / LPC processes.
- Extensive experience coordinating and producing drawing sets (all phases) with an emphasis on building systems, construction detailing and material specifications.
- Experience with construction administration of various project types in New York City.
- Ability to coordinate and communicate efficiently with consultants, clients and contractors.
- Proficiency with Autodesk Design Suite (AutoCad) and Adobe CS Suite.
- Experience with Revit required (other 3D modeling experience, such as Rhino, 3Ds Max, a plus).
- Self-motivation and the ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
- Strong organization and communications skills required.

Project Architect – a registered architect with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.

Architectural Assistant – a Part II architectural student looking to attain Part III status.
