Candidates should have:
- Excellent design and presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Experience of working with and leading a close knit team.
- Experience of private & commercial residential and education sectors;experience of dealing with private clients.
- Experience in negotiating with planning and building regulations authorities to deliver extraordinary results.
- Expert technical knowledge with an eye for detail.
- Extensive on site experience, including contract administration.
- A confident and engaging personality coupled with a practical approach to the delivery of a range of projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, with 3D skills an advantage.

Our client seeks an architect or interior designer with aviation experience to complement the existing team in the San Francisco office and assume responsibility for the interior architecture and interior design of projects developed by both the San Francisco office and firmwide aviation group. This individual will also assist in procuring aviation projects where appropriate, helping to establish the firm as the designer of choice for larger, complex aviation projects.
The ideal candidate will have approximately 15 years of design experience with significant experience with large, complex aviation projects and a genuine interest in the airport building type, particularly in the evolution of the airport facilities of the future. Excellent communications skills and an ability to manage teams and relationships with a diplomatic style of leadership are strongly desired.
