Position:

Experience required:
- A professional architectural degree is required.
- Strong design talent.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience.
- Strong skills in Revit required / CD phase experience desirable.
- Experience in performing arts projects desirable.
- Responsible for technical design aspects of an assigned project including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions.
- Strong ability to develop and articulate design concepts in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to work within a team structure.
- Experience in providing architectural consultation in the planning, design and coordination of projects.
- Experience in decision making on design problems and methods.
- Experience in executing tasks requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures.
- Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite is required. Experience with Autocad, Parametric Modeling [Grasshopper] and Maya is desirable.
- Computer rendering experience with VRay is desirable.
- Experience with modeling tools such as 3D printers and laser cutters is preferred.
- Good interpersonal and communications capabilities.
- Strong, positive references.

Small design-oriented high-end residential firm seeks Intermediate Architect with solid high-end residential design and construction experience for projects ranging from NYC apartments to Long Island country homes. Candidates should also demonstrate good digital modeling and rendering abilities and competent use of all architectural design programs.
Requirements include:
- Min. 3 years experience in high-end residential construction documents & detailing.
- Experience in both high-end interior renovations and single family wood frame construction.
- Ability to manage projects, research and work self-sufficiently.
- Excellent AutoCAD drafting skills.
- Excellent 3D Studio MAX modeling capabilities w/ knowledge of Vray.
- Strong design and graphic abilities.
