Position:
We are seeking architectural design talent to join our small office in working with our clients to create beautiful- but also functional, sustainable, and energy-efficient spaces- that generations of users will enjoy. This position is full time, in-house (no contract work please) with the commitment to providing a long-term opportunity that will be professionally appealing.
Michael Klement AIA, Principle of Architectural Resource, has created an engaging culture where employees will be centrally integral to their projects with full stewardship delegation as Designer/Project Manager. As a Designer with us you will be directly engaged in ALL phases of your projects from initial Programming, through Design, and on to project Construction Administration. Designers will be challenged to reach their full creative/problem-solving potential, have the opportunity to advance their knowledge and careers, work on diverse and exciting residential projects at the forefront of residential architecture, be a member of a successful and respected firm, and be rewarded for quality performance.
This position is a good fit for a “self-starter” who has excellent architectural design skills and is committed to environmentally responsible design. The candidate should have a keen attention to detail, outstanding project and time management skills, and the desire to work somewhat independently within a small firm that prides itself on highly innovative design solutions.
Responsibilities:
Consult effectively with clients and extended project team members from project conception through completion.
Conduct detailed on-site assessments and measurements for assigned projects.
Demonstrate very strong attention to detail and follow-through in preparing information regarding design, specifications, materials, and project design budgets.
Prepare Schematic Design and Design Development and presentation drawings as well as final Construction Documents.
Salary range:
This position will be anticipated to be compensated between $50,000 and $60,000- possibly higher, possibly lower, based on experience and skills.

Qualifications
'Insanely great' architectural design skills.
Professional degree completed in Architecture. (MArch or BArch). Any further Architectural educational aspirations contemplated should not interfere with an 8-5, 40-hour workweek.
Knowledge of Graphisoft ArchiCAD BIM design software mandatory. Current version- Acad18 a plus.
Minimum of five years full-time experience in a professional design position with a solid grounding in residential construction knowledge. Kitchen and bath design skills and experience a plus.
Understanding, experience, interest and personal enthusiasm for Green Building and Green Building Technology. Green accreditation a plus.
Either licensed or currently working towards architectural registration.
Very strong organizational skills as well as written and verbal communication skills.
Keen sense of personal responsibility and immense pride in your work. We sweat the details.

Residential Interior Designer

The successful candidate will join a talented team working on exclusive residential projects through all aspects of the design process.
