17/02/2015Due to exciting recent project wins within London of varying values from £150K to £10million working in highly visible locations, Box Architects is looking for enthusiastic and experienced Architects and/or Chartered Architectural Technologists (MCIAT), with a minimum of 5 years' post qualification experience AND Part 2 Architects with a minimum of 2 Years experience to join our Euston Office in London.
These unique roles offer the opportunity for forward thinking professionals to be part of a brand new office team working in the London Region. With the support of our established head office in Leeds, Box Architects are now looking to develop their existing project office into a permanently manned studio and these posts will form the first appointments to achieve this goal.
Specialising in residential, retail, education and commercial projects, Box Architects has a wealth of experience in finding commercially viable, innovative and creative solutions to complex architectural briefs. Committed to the highest standards and levels of quality we have built a reputation for consistently delivering a quality service on time, every time. For this reason we have developed a portfolio of repeat business clients many of which we have consistently worked with for several years.
Team members will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team. Initially it is possible that colleagues may on occasion need to work alone and be self motivated as we grow the studio to fulfil our current clients requirements.
You will require the experience to produce tender and construction drawing packages and have an understanding of traditional construction methods and materials. It is essential that you are also proficient in both Revit and AutoCAD and have a good knowledge of current UK building regulations.
We run a fast-paced environment, where you will often be expected to work on a number of projects simultaneously, some of which will be based in London and others in Leeds and around the country. THe ability to work on occasion from our Leeds office will also be a requirement.
