Form Architecture + Interiors is a high end residential design firm, specializing in projects in New York City and the Hamptons, and currently completing projects in various locations throughout the world. We are looking for an Interior Designer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be able to assimilate into our tight knit team and meet the following requirements:
- 5 years experience, minimum of 2 years of Residential Interior Design.
- Expert organization and time management skills.
- Knowledgeable design history, current design trends, and antique market.
- Strong sophisticated design aesthetic.
- Deadline oriented with Project Management Skills.
- Strong skills in graphic/presentation layouts, AutoCAD, Sketchup, hand sketching/rendering.
As the Interior Designer, this position will perform a variety of the following duties, and other tasks necessary to deliver a complete project under deadlines:
- Perform all aspects of interior design process from conception to installation and follow up including: FF&E selection, material selection, furniture plans, elevations, renderings, client presentation packages, site surveys, custom furniture design, antique restoration management, shop drawings, delivery coordination, installations.
- Work closely with Principals, follow direction and take initiative accordingly.
- Create and maintain budgets and schedules.
- Strong skills in graphic/presentation layouts, AutoCAD, Sketchup, hand sketching/rendering.
- Travel when necessary.
- Participate in team environment.

We value top-notch graphic representation skills, accurate 3D modeling ability, digital rendering with an eye for good light, and a hand for crafting concise data-driven diagrams.
MArch degree preferred. Expertise in ACAD, Adobe CS, and MS Office required. Expertise in Revit, Rhino, online document sharing and access, and a practical understanding of social media and emerging digital technologies a plus.
