- Excellent AutoCAD drafting skills.
- Excellent 3D Studio MAX modeling capabilities w/ knowledge of Vray.
- Strong design and graphic abilities.
- Hard working, reliable, strong writing and communication skills.
- Bachelors of Architecture degree & eligibility to work in the United States.
- Residing within commuting distance to NYC.

PKS are an established London practice with a varied residential and commercial workload. We are looking for an architect with 3-5 years post part III experience to initially lead two residential projects in London. The position offers a significant career opportunity for the right candidate. Starting salary £40-45,000 p.a.

Our requirements:

- A strong sense of urban architecture and design.
- Confidence in your visual communication skills, including hand sketches.
- The initial projects require experience in contract administration.
- A sound understanding of construction and familiarity with relevant codes and UK building regulations.
- Experience of on-site construction, procurement routes and the ability to direct and work well within a team.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD. Adobe Suite and SketchUp would be favourable.
- Eloquence in written and spoken English.

About you:

You should have at least 3 years post RIBA Part III and UK experience. It is essential that the applicant should have a thorough understanding and experience of UK residential projects.

You should have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and have a pro-active and positive disposition with confidence in your ability at building relationships and ability to liaise at all levels.

You will need to be self-motivated and be a practical and strategic thinker with the ability to work autonomously.
