Immediate opening at a published and well respected boutique architecture firm, specializing in high-end residential as well as select commercial designs. Candidates must have an eye for clean, detailed drawings.
Responsibilities will include all aspects of project life from schematic design through creation, organization and coordination of CD sets. Prior Construction Document creation a must. Candidate must be able to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors and vendors and must be capable of supervising a team through the construction phase.
Extensive knowledge of AutoCAD and Sketch Up a must. Photoshop and Excel also required.

Responsibilities:
- Architect for sustainable multi-family residential and institutional projects, from feasibility through construction administration.
- Maintain primary contact and interface with client and consulting team.
- Coordinate design and production of all phases, schematic design, design development and construction documents, including supervision of the project team.
- Manage bid period and construction administration services, including site visits and coordination with the owner and potential public agency (ies).
- Zoning and code review.
Skills:
- Strong organizational, communication, and design skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent project delivery experience, including construction documentation and construction administration.
- Commitment to and experience with sustainable design.
- Wide ranging knowledge of architectural practice and construction in general.
- Experience in New York City and with sustainable design and multi-family housing a plus.
- Experience with NYC Zoning and Building Code.
- Professional architectural degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 8 years relevant experience (post-grad). US experience required.
- Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Sketch-up.
- US Architectural registration a plus.
- LEED Certification a plus.
- Excellent English language communication and client interface skills.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States, without need for employee sponsorship.
