We are a growing office looking for motivated and forward-thinking individuals to join our team. We are actively engaged in projects of varying typologies and scales. Projects under construction include the Guardian Art Center in Beijing, MahaNakhon in Bangkok, Angkasa Raya in Kuala Lumpur, and DUO in Singapore; many more designs are currently being developed for projects worldwide.
For our Beijing office, we are looking for talented Senior Architects with a creative approach, the technical skills and organizational talent to convincingly develop, communicate and manage ideas through all stages of design, from concept to construction. Senior Architects should have at least 8 years post-graduate work experience at internationally renowned design firms, developing mid to large-scale projects of a high quality through all design phases and construction. The ability to take on complex ambitious projects, to work with a systematic approach to design, to coordinate and collaborate with an extensive team of local and international consultants (including Executive/Local Architect/LDI, SMEP engineers, façade, sustainability, traffic, etc.), as well as the ability to manage, and communicate internally as well as with the client and consultant team, is essential.
You will join and / or lead dedicated project teams to develop the design from concept through construction stages of large-scale projects worldwide, coordinate design and technical output, and communicate internally and with an extensive team of international and local consultants, and prepare and participate in presentations and workshops, as well as with clients. The ability to collaborate, motivate, and build strong relationships with all team members is essential to your role.
Qualifications:
- 8 years minimum post-graduate experience in international design offices working on large scale international projects through all design and construction stages.
- Strong and clear communication skills and a systematic approach to overall design and project management and the design process.
- Developed skills in team leadership and organization, client communication, project scheduling, and consultant coordination.
- Advanced knowledge in high-rise building design, technical detailing, compilation of drawing sets and construction documents, and construction administration.
- Creativity, enthusiasm, and commitment to a high level of design in a high energy work environment.
- Familiarity with general planning and code regulations; knowledge of Chinese codes a plus.
- Master Degree (or equivalent professional degree) in Architecture.
- Fluency in English; Bilingualism (English/Mandarin, English/German) a plus.
- Strong Adobe / AutoCAD, Microsoft Office / Project and Rhino skills, Revit experience is a plus.
- Enthusiasm and commitment to a high level of design in a high energy work environment.
