Project Designer
22/01/2015We are a dynamic and contemporary design firm that specializes in new construction/renovation of residential and mixed-used buildings. Rapidly expanding with a unique opportunity for long term growth potential. We are currently looking for a full time, experienced "Project Designer" to join our design team.
- Must have minimum of 3-5(+) years NYC experience designing & leading small to large/complex buildings.
- Must have a Bachelor's of Architecture.
- Must be located in NYC.
- Must be a very organized leader with excellent communication skills.
- Confident enough to be the liaison between office, clients, contractors and consultants.
- Must have experience with CD's, building & facade design.
- Knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Knowledge of NYC zoning and building code.
- Must be mastered in AutoCAD Architecture [v.2014 a plus].
- Experience with residential and mixed-use buildings a plus.
- Strong detailing is a plus.
- Job lead/captain, managing projects from concept to finish is a huge plus.
- Strong renderers will be considered as well.

A successful candidate should be a detail-oriented individual, with experience working in a fast-paced environment, manage own work load, prioritize projects and deadlines.

- Information gathering and analysis.
- Producing drawings for all design phases - conceptual design through construction documents.
- Organizing and compiling materials for client presentations.
- Job site visits as required.
Other qualifications are:

- AutoCAD proficient.
