Elemental Architecture is a full service practice with a diverse range of projects and is seeking a Junior Architect for involvement in all phases of design and construction administration. Qualified candidates must possess a professional degree in Architecture and have worked previously in an architectural office for 1-3 years. We are looking for a self-motivated, detail oriented, and well organized person to contribute to our team.

Responsibilities include developing designs and technical solutions through all phases of a project, production of construction documents, consultant coordination, contact with clients and on-site construction review & administration.

Requirements include: superior AutoCAD and Revit skills, proficiency in 3D programs (Rhino, V-Ray, & Sketchup), Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office programs; construction document experience; exceptional communications ability, both written and spoken and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Applicants must currently reside in the New York City metro area and have legal authorization to work in the US.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the practice with the immediate demand for Project Architects and Architectural Technicians. Our practice has a varied workload, which is predominantly residential, including extensions and alterations, new build one off houses as well as larger residential developments and student housing, plus a range of commercial and leisure developments including offices, pubs and hotels.

The candidates must have 5+ years post education experience and be excellent job runners. You should have impeccable technical and computer skills; backed up with a good understanding of UK Building Regulations, Code for Sustainable Homes and Lifetime Homes.

Within the practice, experience of all work stages is available from Planning to Completion. You will be joining an excellent team and a practice which offers the opportunity for development and growth for the right candidate.
