The Intermediate Interior Designer to assist the senior interior designer & the project design teams on Interiors projects from the Pre-Schematic Phase through Construction Documents. The candidate must demonstrate their ability to react to a number of design styles and methods of delivery. This position requires the candidates to develop design concepts, presentation and documentation with the team.
Job responsibilities:
- Reporting to the senior interior designer and the principal responsible for the individual market sector, the Interior Designer will be responsible for tasks including programming, and must possess a strong graphic presentation skill, a thorough working knowledge of furniture and lighting lines and FF&E specifications.
Key skills:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Interior Design or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of interior design experience with main concentration in Residential. Additional Corporate interior and Retail Design experience are plus.
- Ability to develop, communicate and present design concepts to their team and clients.
- Strong communication skills and excellent graphic presentation skills.
- Experience with furniture selection and procurement.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-up, InDesign are required. Proficiency or experience Revit, 3Ds Max, Rhino and other related design software are a plus.
- LEED accreditation & NCIDQ accreditation are preferred.
