Essential skills / qualities required:
- Experience of working on residential projects in the UK.
- Ability to drive the delivery of the project, being client facing and managing a small team of Architectural Assistants.
- Full understanding of project requirements from concept through to planning, tender and construction stages.
- Ability to manage the time and workflow of project efficiently.
- Sound knowledge of UK building regulations.

The Anderson Studio of Architecture and Design seeks a full-time dynamic Project Architect to join our Charleston, SC office. The Project Architect will be responsible for the work of a 1-3 person design team, with project locations ranging from the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the US to the Caribbean.
Desired skills and experience:
- 5+ years experience in the design of high-end, custom residential projects.
- Master’s degree in Architecture preferred.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to comfortably move between modern and historically inflected design languages.
- Strong hand sketching and computer graphics skills, with software knowledge/experience to ideally include:
- AutoCAD or ArchiCAD.
- Adobe Creative Suite.
- SketchUp.
- Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel and Word.
- ◦Other CAD 2D and 3D software.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on leadership, communication, teamwork and collaboration.
- Must be passionate about the work, detail-oriented and able to work autonomously while taking direction.
