Neuhaus Design Architecture, P.C. is a small full-service architecture firm located in Brooklyn, NY, and specializing in high-end residential projects. We work closely with our clients, and collaborate with our consultants and contractors to provide unique design, a high level of service, and a high quality finished product.
We are looking for a Junior Architect to join our team. The position is full-time and will include participation in multiple ongoing projects. This will include measuring and drawing existing conditions for new projects, working on schematic design, preparing construction documents, preparing drawings for DOB & LPC submissions, modeling in 3D, making site visits to projects under construction and working directly with senior staff.
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Professional degree in architecture.
- A minimum of one year of experience (summer internships included) working in an architecture or design firm.
- Excellent communication and follow through, organizational skills and ability to multi-task required.
- Must be a self-starter and be comfortable working both independently and within a team.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D modeling ( familiarity with SketchUp a plus).
- Experience working on high-end residential projects and interest in interior design is a plus.
- The salary for this position is competitive and will be determined based on experience.

RDA is an award winning, established chartered practice. Due to our expanding workload we have an immediate requirement for an Architect to join our friendly team to work on our expanding portfolio of high end residential projects.
The ideal candidate should have excellent design skills and attention to detail, and be able and keen to take on a high level of individual responsibility. You should preferably have 1 or 2 years’ experience of working on UK residential projects, with a working knowledge of UK building regulations. Knowledge of Passivhaus would be ideal (PHPP). As a small practice we can offer excellent experience opportunities at all stages of work however in return we require a high level of commitment from the successful candidate.
Experience in AutoCAD is essential, changing to Revit. 3D visualisation skills are desirable and you must be able to demonstrate good knowledge of UK Building Regulations/specification writing to be considered for these positions. Excellent presentation and communication skills would be required and expected.
