Interior Designer

Savvy is working with an integrated Architecture Studio in the search for a Mid Weight Interior Designer to join their thriving team in Singapore. With a strong focus in hospitality and mixed development projects, our client is renowned for their conceptual work. This is an integral role within a collaborative team, drawing from the resources of a design driven studio. They are looking for candidates who have the enthusiasm to work with like-minded individuals to create environmental spaces that delight the senses.

You must have:

- 4-6 years of experience in interior projects and experience in handling complex projects like Resorts, hotels and residential.
- Have a Bachelor or Masters degree in Interior Design.
- Strong conceptual thinkers who have a rigorous attention to detail and managed small teams of 2-3 designers prior to this.
- 3-4 years of project experience, managing projects from design to completion.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Revit & Sketchup.
- Job Scope.
- Work with Directors to lead the project team in schematic, construction drawings.
- Develop highly conceptual design ideas into memorable lifestyle experience.
- Liaise effectively with consultants and clients to handle projects in a timely schedule.

We are seeking an uber-talented, highly motivated, Architectural Designer with 8-10 years of experience to join our team in New York. You may be the right candidate if you enjoy working in a highly creative, yet disciplined environment (work hard, play hard) and if you have previously been a major contributor in the production and coordination of projects from design concept through construction administration.

Here’s the nitty gritty, you also have:

- A professional degree in architecture from an accredited institution, license is a plus.
- 8-plus years of proven experience on mid-to-large scale projects.
- Management experience in leading teams to performance.
- Ability to think critically, to develop creative design concepts and translate them into working documents.
- Solid knowledge of construction materials finishes and details.
- Experience with FF&E specifications and ability to write FF specifications to describe the project selections.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem solving capabilities, prioritization, organization, and follow through.
- Agility - must be a team player that can handle multiple tasks.
- A sense of humor, because let's face it, sometimes it's necessary.
