- Hospitality experience - Architectural.
- AutoCAD proficiency, Revit capabilities a real plus.
- Ability to complete a set of Construction Documents without supervision.
- Ability to coordinate Structural and MEP consultant drawings.
- Self-Motivated.
- Can perform site surveys.
- Knowledge of technical drawings and detailing.
- Knowledge of Building Codes.
- Experienced in Construction Administration.
- Holds an accredited Architectural degree.
- California Architectural License.
- Minimum eight-ten years experience.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Waldo Works are seeking an immediate Part 3 or experienced Part 2 Architect who has worked in the Retail and High End residential sectors. Working closely with directors the applicant would be required to agree conceptual design direction with clients, produce clear and organised drawn information for review and issue, as well as participate in and run projects on site through to completion.

Waldo Works is a multidisciplinary design practice that works across the retail, hotel and residential sectors in both architecture and interior design. We work with with well known british and international brands, as well as individuals, and aim to make environments that work commercially and creatively. We are currently an office of 12 - a mix of architects, architectural designers and Interior Designers. Waldo Works is interested in the character and meaning created through our designs. We take a conceptual and experimental approach to look for the best design solutions for our clients. We research, debate and refine designs within the office, throughout the different processes and scales of a project and try to achieve inspirational and exciting environments.

- Part 2 or Part 3 RIBA Architectural Qualification.
- At least 5 years of experience working in this discipline.
- Experience managing and leading a design team.
- Proven experience managing a client relationship.
- A Portfolio of experience within the residentail/hospitality/retail sector.
- A record of experience completing complex built projects.
- The ability to interview in London in the near future.
- demonstrable superb detailing skills.
- Ability to manage, create and produce drawing packages.
- An ability to understand the financial implications of design decisions.
- Self motivation and a good communication skills.
- Vectorworks skills are preferred, but Autocad skills will be considered.
- It is imperative that your English and written English are perfect.
