Shubin + Donaldson Architects in Santa Barbara is seeking a motivated Designer / Architect with 3-5 years of experience in publication-quality commercial and residential projects as an addition to our team. S+D is currently undertaking a diverse range of new projects, including ground-up construction, commercial renovations, creative workplaces, and custom residences.
Position requirements: We are seeking a talented individual with the ability to work both independently in a self-directed manner as well as collaboratively within a project team. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in conceptual design, design presentation, and construction documentation. Strong graphic, organization and communication skills are essential. Proficiency with developing construction documents and experience in Revit and AutoCAD are required. 3D modeling skills in 3ds Max, Rhino and SketchUp are preferred. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens or have permanent residence status.

William McDonough + Partners, leaders in Cradle to Cradle® inspired design, are seeking talented Architects / Designers with 4 to 7 years of professional experience to join our studio in San Francisco, CA and work collaboratively with project teams on innovative and forward thinking architectural and urban design projects locally and around the world.
Qualified candidates must have strong design conceptualization and execution skills with high proficiency and (professional) experience in the use of Autodesk Revit (required) for project development and documentation.
Candidates must also excel in advanced digital modeling and rendering techniques and have well-developed organizational and verbal, written, and visual / graphic communication skills.
An excellent understanding of sustainable design practices, strong problem solving skills, a passion for learning, high motivation, and an ability to collaborate and work within a team setting are essential.
A degree in architecture from an accredited architectural program is required. Licensure and leed ap a plus.
