ARB registered Chartered Architect wanted for a busy medium-sized multi-disciplinary practice in Maidstone, Kent, to work on a variety of projects including private and developer-led residential, sports and leisure, commercial, retail, heritage, refurbishment and renovation projects.

The ideal applicant will:

- Be ARB registered (also preferably be a Chartered Architect with RIBA membership).
- Have a minimum of 3-5 years post part III experience within a UK architectural practice.
- Have an understanding of current UK Planning and Building Regulations.
- Understand the RIBA Plan of Work and the tasks associated with each work stage.
- Understand project procurement and the requirements for project delivery.
- Have excellent job running skills and the ability to manage jobs from inception to completion.
- Have contractual knowledge and experience of contract administration.
- Demonstrate excellent client-facing skills and the ability to manage clients’ expectations.
- Have excellent communication skills and a good standard of spoken and written English.
- Demonstrate excellent presentation skills for drawings and reports.
- Have the ability to work independently or as part of a team when required.
- Have a clean and valid driving licence and their own means of transport.
- Be able to work in a variety of mediums such as, pens, paper, AutoCAD LT 2012, MS Office and have an understanding of BIM (preferably with experience of using and managing BIM models in ArchiCAD 18).
