There is a new opening for an experienced Intermediate Project Architect with Base Building experience to support the New York office located in SoHo. Our ideal candidate will have professional experience in corporate and commercial base building architecture, and a demonstrated interest in thoughtful, modern design.
Responsibilities include:
- Design coordination and detailing.
- Document preparation.
- Construction observation.
Requirements:
- Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
- Leed accreditation and knowledge of environmentally sensitive building systems and products are desirable.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Construction administration experience would be a plus.

Our design team is expanding and we are seeking a senior architect with at least 5 years post Part III UK professional experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding design talent, have excellent technical skills with at least 3 years' experience running projects on site in the UK.
The right candidate would take projects from feasibility studies via design to pre-app and application level. Responsibilities include being lead consultant and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams. Excellent presentation skills, including Vectorworks, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office are essential, as are excellent written and spoken communication skills and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
We have a varied range of projects which involve existing buildings and in particular listed buildings, projects in conservation areas and sensitive architectural settings. Current commissions include work to London hotels and leisure venues and large-scale private dwellings. This position is an opportunity for the successful candidate to step up to the next level of responsibility and take on new challenges. We are a medium size, equal opportunities practice based in Islington and offer flexible working hours. The salary is negotiable within the range of £35,000 - £45,000.
