Design, analyze, and lead the development of site plans and store design for specific Bass Pro sites.
Duties / responsibilities:
- Take the information supplied by the real estate team and execute the required site development options using CAD, Sketch Up and Photo Shop.
- Analyze the site on Google Maps, research local codes, study parking counts, explore additional site options.
- Help with proto type standards and development.
- Generate massing models in SketchUp.
- Generate movies in SketchUp showing site visibility.
- Communicate continually and effectively with the real estate team, architectural team, legal, and the construction teams.
- Speed, efficiency and accuracy are very important.
- Hours: 8:00 to 5:00 plus, Monday thru Friday minimum. Willing to answer emails at any time.
- Ability to travel anywhere in the world if necessary. Travel will be limited, but is required on occasion.
Qualifications:
- 5 Years of Architectural Design experience with a firm or independent practice.
- Bachelors or Masters of Architecture.
- Proficient with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop as a minimum.
- Ability to communicate a design idea in drawing form two dimensionally and three dimensionally.
- Ability to draw by hand and by computer.
- Design skills should be focused on themed architecture to match our brand statement.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and visually.
- Clear email communication that is task and bottom line oriented.

Position overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, creative thinking, interior designer / intermediate-level architect who can provide a full range of design and technical skills to support a project team. Core activities include space planning, design detail and materials research, detailing and coordination. The ideal candidate will share a passion for architecture and designing in a team environment where collaboration skills are paramount.

Requirements:
- Highly proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign.
- A passion for design, a strong sense of aesthetics, a commitment to mutual professional respect on the team.
- 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Prior work in successfully leading project teams and coordinating with project consultants and clients.
- Strong design skills as well as excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Solid experience in Interior Space Planning, sourcing and specifying FF&E and finishes, and proficiency in developing schematic plans into 3D concepts for a variety of large and small projects.
- Leed accredited preferred.
Education and experience:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture.
- NCIDQ preferred.
